Geihoku Kokusai
With 13 runs (the longest of which is 2000m)this is one of the biggest ski resorts in the area. Until very recently, it looked like the resort was going to have to close causing much worry in the mountain community. At the last minute, however, a Tokyo compnay has taken over running the resort and it will be open from December 2008 for the 2009 season.
The ratio between boarders and skiers has generally been about half and half. Reasonably easy to access it gets pretty crowded on Sundays and holidays.
Information listed below is as of the 2007/8 season.
