Don't forget the blog
New feature articles in our Hype section have been a few and far between recently. Please remember, however, that the
GetHiroshima Blog is updated several times a week - sometimes several times a day. It is where for the past year or so we have been posting
links to local news in English, translations of Japanese local news, news of updates within the main website, as well as the occassional video and random musing. You can also
find links to some other local blogs, including a quite active one on
Parenting called HiroshimaOyako and the editorial
HiroshimaGab.
The GetHiroshima Blog, Oyako and the Gab are enabled with an RSS "Site Feed". Those using Firefox or Safari browser can bookmark the URL that shows in your browser's address bar when you click the "Site Feed"
link (Live Bookmark in Firefox) and you will be able to see whenever the blog has been updated. Those using other browsers can subscribe to
the feed through services such as MyYahoo, MyMSN and Google Reader or by using a RSS feed aggregator.
We'd also like to remind readers that we are always interested in feature contributions. We are unable to pay for contributions, but we can offer you the opportunity to get your work (including a byline and
bio) published and read. If you have a piece of writing, photo essay or a feature idea you think is suitable for GetHiroshima please get in touch. You can contact us by clicking on the "Feedback" link on any page.
GetHiroshima is a community resource, and it can only continue and grow with your support.
Cheers,
Paul Walsh
