Otagawa Yume Hiroba Flea Market

Bargain hunters delight at this great outdoor flea market.

Janken game for the kids, free entry and parking for customers, and if you want to run a stall it only costs ¥1000 per space (reserve a space by calling or faxing the Hiroshima recycler's association -in Japanese- anytime, they say they are open for reservations 24hours a day (probably by fax afterhours).

There is also free parking available for all comers.

It is easy to find, heading away from town on Route 54, head straight toward Koyo passing Hesaka, turn left over the red bridge and then right to follow the road on the left side of the river. The flea market should be located on the embankment to the left of the river not far after the putting greens end and before the baseball practice areas.

The nearest station is the 'Bairin' station on the Kabe line, it is a 10 minute walk from there (head toward the river and you can see it on the riverbank). Have a look at the weblink for a Japanese map of the location.
