Bars

Enjoint Bar Cover

cover Enjoint Bar Cover is the best micro club in town.

If your unfamiliar with Japan’s ‘shot-bars’ you’ll be more than a little surprised at the size of Cover. If you stick around a for a few drinks though, you’ll probably be equally surprised at the quality of the sound system in Cover. In fact there are probably a fair few clubs out there that don’t have one as good as the one you’ll find in Ton-san’s bar, particularly when nature calls and you pay a visit to the boom boom room. Ton has been refining the sound system over the years and on Fridays and Saturdays it gets pretty loud, but never painfully so.

Southern Cross

southern-cross Kiwi-Aussie themed bar Southern Cross is one of the few smoke-free bars in Hiroshima, and it’s pretty big too.

Serving up beer and wines from New Zealand and Australia as well as pub food including such as sausage rolls, meat pies, steak sandwiches, lamb burgers and more.

Midnight Oasis

m Taka’s bar on the second floor of the Casablanca Building, with a big counter and several tables, offers a friendly and fun, smoke-free place to drink on Nagarekawa-dori not far from Billy the Kid karaoke.

Taka has been a popular part of Hiroshima’s nightlife scene for a few years now. You will always find a warm welcome at Midnight Oasis. This new location allows for larger groups to come and drink together, but is still a great place to go on your own to have a drink if you feel like it.
