Cusco Cafe

Cusco Cusco cafe, run by long-term resident Peruvian brother and sisters, have become an important part of the thriving international community here. This place is a pivotal point for many of our international residents and visitors. Cusco, and their sister restaurant Tinto, are two of the only multilingual restaurants in the city- Spanish, English and Japanese speakers will all feel very comfortable here.

As they are open everyday of the year (no holidays) from 9am-11pm (last order), Cusco’s is a great resource for residents and travelers who want a decent meal at a decent price anytime of day.

Al Mandolino

Interior Spacious, yet cosy Italian restaurant where wait staff dress in their formal black and whites all day. Originally opened in 1987, Al Mandolino was one of Hiroshima’s first Italian restaurants and has stood the test of time due to their good food, service and spacious dining area.

Otis!

Otis! Run by an organic and healthy food-loving chef and her live music-loving partner, Otis! is a small space packed full of character. During the day, Otis! is a smoke-free cafe offering healthy Japanese and vegetarian Tex-Mex set lunches for ¥800 (12-3pm) and an à la carte menu full of American foods that are hard to find in Japan. In the evening, it is a quiet place to go and have a bite or a drink, or on live event nights (about twice a month) it is transformed into a cosy, live music venue.

Caffe Ponte

caffe-ponte4 A classy Italian restaurant on the edge of Peace Park, Caffe Ponte shows the many visitors that pass through the park each day that Hiroshima is worth taking the time to enjoy. There are tables inside, but dining out on the terrace on a sunny day is a real treat.
