Roxis

Offering a range of wines, martinis, cocktails and a laid back atmosphere Roxis aims to provide a place for those who've graduated from packed out clubs with booming sound systems a place to enjoy the company of friends or make new ones.

The bar has 3 distinct 'spaces', a nice little chilled lounging area around the corner, the bar area and a more open space which houses the main parts of the sound system.

During the week the music is a variety a blend of 1980s and contemporary rock, pop and dance at volumes loud enough to enjoy, but low enough to allow you to chat.

If you prefer your music with a more electronic clubby edge, despite it's name, at the weekends Roxis seems to be filling the void left by the recent closures of some of Hiroshima's smaller/mid-sized venues. See GH Events for more details on their regular Saturday night clubs.

There are free snacks at the counter and they are planning to expand their range of tapas dishes which currently includes imported Spanish meats and cheeses such as chorizo iberico, queso manchego, jamon iberico as well as quesedillas and pizzas.

My family and I came to Japan for two weeks touring the country. When we arrived in Hiroshima my three sisters, my fiancé and myself came across this place on a hotel tourist map and decided to try it out. WE HAD AN AWESOME TIME! The DJ (Donnell?), an American Marine stationed nearby who spins on Friday nights, played great music and the bartender was gracious and fun as hell! He danced with all the girls in our group and totally made our night. Thank you Roxis! We loved Hiroshima and you definitely made the visit that much better! BTW, if anyone has any contact information for this place (email, website, whatever) please let me know. I took a bunch of pics and would love to share them with the DJ and bartender that was working that night.

Boring little club. i've been there a couple of times. sure the facilities and service are nice. but it's nothing special. expect to see people over the age of 30s there.

This spot is one of the best spots in Hiroshima. A great mix of people, everyone is friendly & cool. so NOT like some other places in town. Been there on the weekends and during week, vibe is always good. cannot say anything bad but check it out!

Man the place is excellent. The bar scene is fantastic the dance floor is by far and away the best in the City. MD and Eric have outdone everyone including themselves. Great Job guys!!!
