Central, friendly bar staffed by friendly Japanese and non-Japanese barkeeps that's become a favorite of many Japanese and ex-pats alike.

Drink prices are reasonable, and during the 9-10pm happy hour you can get two spirits for the price of one.

Kulcha is a great meeting place and a friendly enough bar to even brave alone. Generally it's fairly quiet during the week, but it can get really hopping at the weekend. Check GetHiroshima's event listings for details of the theme parties they throw every few months.

They also have a computer terminal with free Internet access for customers, so you can check your hotmail account or check all your nightlife options here on GetHiroshima. There's an electronic dart board too.

I ususally dont like to dis but this place is just a filthy, boring hole. Dont waste your money. Give this place a pass.

I used to live in Hiroshima and Kulcha was my local!! It was the best gaijin bar in town and Alex and Takeshi were great guys!!! Anyone who goes here will have a ball, whether it be drinking shots or playing darts!!!!Miss you guys!!!

Awesome, I was the original bartender with Sime, painted the "K" on the wall and it's tattooed on my heart (so to speak), Mary and I will return one day....get our flaming brain hemorrage's ready and cue "la grange". Old School! Love you guys.

So many good memories, all the best people go here! Simon and Nic were the best. Cant imagine the place without big dave propping up the bar and Tim behind the bar putting our favourite tunes on (especially for Mary) who is now married too. Met all my best mates in this bar. Its the people that make a place.

Lived in Hiroshima for 2.5 years. Kulcha was my local. The place is second to none and a great spot to meet people. Bartenders Alex and Takeshi are legends without question! Give it a go!
