Izakaya Aka Hyotan

Lively Izakaya with a wide (Japanese) menu that offers the whole range of izakaya fare at ¥380 or less per dish.
There's a good selection of veggie options too.

Most of the seating is at low Japanese tables, but the Horigotatsu style (there's space underneath to put your legs into) means it's pretty comfortable.
If you have a large group at the weekend it's probably worth making a reservation.

This shop very friendly and has low prices. I ofen go to this shop. My favorite drinks are Cassis soda and Jack Daniels.

Even a teetotaller (a nondrinker) can enjoy eating and chatting here.
They offer a broad range of wholesome dishes and the food is just like your mother's cooking- if your mother is Japanese :-).
