"one and only"

my god, I spent the better part of 3 years in Mac. Mac and Yuri give hope to human-f**ng-beings - no matter what part of the world. The best dive in any part of the world. If you're in H-town, it's the one place you'd have to see.

Awesome times!! Too many to recall. Yuri & Mac are the nicest people. How many times did I ask Mac to play something by Yellowman? Epic latenight drinking sessions with Jeffu, Dave B., KVB, Taras, squirrel, AJ, etc. Here's to Mac bar old school: 90-95. cheers

MAC was a great find while backpacking through Japan. Yuri was so sweet and welcoming. Even more impressive than the music collection was Yuri's knowledge of it. Thanks for a great time.

Was in Japan from 96-98, spent many a night(and day) here. Met the best people and had the greatest times. Thank you Mac and Yuri for all the great times. I too wait for the day when I can go back.

I lived in Hiroshima in 1993 and this virtually became my living room. Everywhere else in Japan is clean and shiny but Mac's was dark, dingy, real and comforting. It's the only place I've ever been to where you can play a game of chess, break off to have a dance and then resume your game. I always think of The Clash and Ian Dury when I think of Mac's because that is what I missed at the time and so that's what he was kind enough to play. Wish I were there tonight and I hope to return again...

I live in Hiroshima from 1990-1993. Although back then, MAC was a tiny, dingy place, it was the warmest, friendliest place it town. Yuri and Mac have been lifesavers for many a lonely gaijin. I still have my MAC sweatshirt, and wish I could go there tonight!

spent a decade there, I think, go back from time to time from Oregon, got the Mac bumper sticker, made friends for life, and I too long to be there just after the door opens, love to all of you!

Just thinking about the place makes me long to be there just after opening, ready to begin the long haul into the night. There is no substitute. Forever young; forever Mac...
