Stephanie Nixon
Stephanie entered 9 photographs in the contest this year, two of which placed in the top 5. "Barrels" (4th place), "Holy Leaf" (5th place), "Umbrellas",
"Elephant Eye", "Autumn Candles", "Courtyard Door", "Blido Blue Water", "Fence to Nowhere" and "Corrugated Grasses".
Stephanie uses a Cannon Eos and an old Asahi Pentax camera. She is planning to move to live and work in Sapporo soon, but we hope she
will still enter our contest again next year.
"I am a New Zealander living and working full time in Hiroshima. I take photos to relax in my free time. Japan is a great place to
own a camera, as the evening light and colours are fantastic here. I love most forms of photography, but tend to lean
towards macro, and images that show the mundane as interesting."
